The Vision

At Our Rainbow Hearts, we believe queer connection shouldn’t be confined to a screen. We created Our Rainbow Map to help you navigate Scotland’s safest, most welcoming spaces with intentionality and ease.

Whether you are looking for a quiet corner to read in the Southside or a vibrant spot for a first date in the Merchant City, this map is your guide to the community "in the wild."

How to use the Signal Guide 💍

This map is designed to work in harmony with our #QueerlyAvailable rings. When you visit a spot on the map, use your ring to communicate your status and availability at a glance:

• 💗 Heart Tip Facing Out: "I’m single and #QueerlyAvailable." Use this signal if you are open to dates, romantic connections, and new introductions.
• 💗 Heart Tip Facing In: "I’m taken, but I’m an ally." Use this signal to show you are part of the community or an ally, but not currently looking for a date.

• 🧡 Orange Pins: Sapphic-Centric Spaces (Women & Non-Binary).
